Son of Sanger
May 1, 1986- October 31, 2003

"THE HORSE THAT CAPTURED THE HEARTS OF EVERYONE THAT KNEW HIM, THEN BROKE THEM"

Just 10 weeks ago, we were blessed to welcome "Sanger" into our home. He was foundered and 150 pounds under weight. In just 9 weeks he went from 900 pounds to 1050 pounds and from not being hardly able to walk to being able to walk. A week before he passed away he started losing weight rapidly, and lying down all the time. We did all we could do for him and the vets offered no insight on a treatment for him. He Passed Away on Holloween Night.

Sanger had 3.0 amateur and 2.5 open AQHA reining points, and was a NRHA money earner in excess of over 3,500. He touched everyones' heart that knew him, BUT obviously not his previous owner. He will be remembered in our hearts' forever.

Don't Cry for the Horses

Don't cry for the horses That life has set free
A million white horses
forever to be

Don't cry for the horses
Now in God's hands
As they dance and they prance
To a heavenly band.

They were ours as a gift
But never to keep
As they close their eyes
Forever to sleep

Their spirits unbound
On silver wings they fly
A million white horses
Against the blue sky

Look up into heaven
You'll see them above
The horses we lost
The horses we loved

Manes and tails flowing
They gallop through time
They were never yours
They were never mine

Don't cry for the horses
They will be back someday
When our time has come
They will show us the way

Do you hear that soft nicker
Close to your ear?
Don't cry for the horses
Love the ones that are here.
